You want to improve your life? I always recommend anyone to read this book. Whenever I run into it at a shop I always buy it to give it to a friend. Sanaya channels her spirit guide Orin and he is actually the one writing the books through here. Just by reading this book you will this uplifting and joyous energy. The book widens your understanding on how you can choose to look at things in life. After each chapter there are exercises, affirmations and a playsheet.

This is the second book in Sanaya’s series. This book teaches you to how to be telepathic, how to change peoples images about you, and how to sense energies. The exercise I personally loved most in the book was how to literally tap into another person. The exercise respectfully allows you to see the world from another persons perspective. It’s astonishing to see the world through another person’s awareness and realise how different each persons perception is of life.

Ever since my spiritual path started, Jane Roberts was always in close proximity. So often people referred to books by her, and finally only since recently I started reading her work. Jane channels Seth and Jane’s husband records it all. And let me tell you, IT IS AMAZING. There is honestly nothing out there like it. Get ready to take your outlook on life, spirituality and the realms far beyond.

The second in the Seth series (there are many more to come for me to read; yay!) and it’s another stunning work. This book is all about how we can become aware of our limited beliefs and start to expand our consciousness. How we can work with our dreams and how our physical reality operates most smoothy. Again, so so good!

Such a beauty this book. After I read it, I ordered a bunch of copies to give to friends and family. Shakti is an amazing inspiration for anyone wanting bring more light and higher frequency into this world. She teaches you how to follow your intuition and transform the way you look at your world.

A Course in Miracles
The foundation of the whole new age genre is this massive book. The book is written by a jewish woman in the 70s who channeled Jesus. I know sounds pretty cray cray right? But honestly it’s the most profound book out there. It’s very densely written, so definitely not an easy read, but it’s teachings are eternal. Half of the book is a text book, and the other half consist of 365 exercises that will shift your perception from fear to love. I’m doing the book right now and I’m giving myself two years for it!

A Return to Love - Marianne Williamson
Don’t have two years to invest in A Course in Miracles? I get it. Marianne Williamson is a Course interpreter and write a wonderful book with all its core messages and learnings. Very readable, very relatable and you will read it within weeks. Big realisation from this book for me was; ‘In every moment, we’re either extending love or projecting fear.

I remember thinking, who was I before I read this books? Honestly these series will change the way you look at almost everything. It gives insight on all the questions that you might have on the grander scale of life. They’re absolute eye-openers in a very nice and gentle way.

Your Soul’s Plan + Your Soul’s Gift - Robert Schwarz
In these two book Robert creates a team of psychics and mediums that are all specialised on pre-birth planning. Before we incarnate we set out a plan. In this plan we set up the lessons we want to live, karma we want to work out and with who we want to do all this. Robert investigated why people would choose to be born with a disability, or have a tragic thing happen in their life, or why we choose certain toxic relationships. These books will bring about a whole new perspective and really makes you respect the path that everybody is on. There really is no need for us to have opinions about other peoples lives and choices. People are simply learning the lessons they wanted to learn.

What a gem! This book has come to me on a couple occasions but I never picked it up before. Thankfully yet another friend gifted me this book and finally I started reading it. With every chapter I had to lay it down to make sure I was absorbing all the information. I highly recommend this book. It’s also a great gift as you really don’t need any spiritual understanding or background to still get loads out of it.

The Surrender Experiment - Michael Singer
This is Michael’s second book and it’s the story of his life, written more in a novel style. It’s very easy to read and actually it be very hard to put away. He wrote this book to show his life by example on how to live a life from a place of surrendering. Surrendering to the flow of life, and not following the voice in his head. It has caused him to live an extraordinary life.

Anatomy of Spirit - Caroline Myss
This lady is a powerhouse of spiritual knowledge, I’ve only read two books of her but if you come across a book of her I suggest you pick it up. In this book she dissects the chakra system and links it to other religious streams which brings about a very interesting viewpoint.

I think it’s pretty safe to say that these two books are classics in the Spiritual Development/ New Age category. Eckhart teaches us to become fully present. Stop worrying on what’s the come or what has been, but be here now, and be here fully.

Louise Hay is a true authority in the world of self-love and growth. This book for example has sold over 50 million copies. It’s a true gem and filled with exercises that will enrich your life with more love, gratitude and joy. Louise is also the founder of the Hay House publishing house. So if you’re ever in need of another book, check them out. All their books are top notch.

A fascinating little book by medium Ainslee Macleod, that teaches you about the different stages of development your soul goes through. The book explains about the different soul ages and what kind of lives the soul progresses through, through its reincarnating cycles. It helps you to understand yourself and also respect others next to you, as you come to realize we’re all simply walking our path.

The Disappearance of the Universe - Gary R. Renard
Imagine this, you’re meditating in your living room, and all of a sudden two ascended masters show up right in front of you. Pretty wild, but this is exactly what happened to Gary Renard. These ascended masters come to Gary a total of 10 times, each time explaining him how to interpret, process and digest the teachings of A Course In Miracles (the book I mentioned above). The book is very funny yet also profound in its teachings at the very same time. If you’re dipping your toes in ACIM, I highly recommend reading this alongside! PS Gary has two more follow-up books that are also beautiful

When I first started channeling, my guides told me to read this book. Which is pretty funny because this is a channeled book. The book is a really great help for those starting out with channeling. It’s so easy for our conscious minds to discredit anything that comes in. But this book gives you loads of tools on how to start a solid practice. It’s filled with exercises and teaches you how to get in the right state to open your channel.

This is the book that changed everything for me. It was my very first spiritual book, and it turned my world upside down. If you’re new to regressions I recommend to start with this one. The book is written by a renounced psychologist professor, who stumbles upon past lives when he uses hypnosis on one of his clients. In the book he takes you on his journey from being skeptical to a full blown believer.

This autobiographic book about the life of Edith Eger. She lived as a wealthy Jewish woman in Hungary at the time the second world war broke out. It’s a very captivating story in which she shares with you how she was able to not lose her mind while being in a concentration camp, and also surviving the war and starting a new life. It’s a very inspirational and empowering read, that will leave in absolute awe.

I love it when a book shows you the magic that is all around us. This beautiful autobiography of Yogananda shows how true magic and spirituality can be experienced within the human experience. For me books like this are very important it stretches the intellectual part of my brain allowing it to welcome mystical experiences of myself with greater ease into my own life. The mind is a beautiful tool but we do need to feed it the right ingredients. This book is one of these wonderful ingredients.

Teresa was a non who was born over 500 years ago in Catholic Spain. Teresa had many mystical experiences and she wasn’t silent about it. In my eyes as a past life regressionist, she had a very strong connection to the voice of her Higher Self and what she did, against all odds, was to completely follow this voice. In a time where it wasn’t necessarily safe as a woman to do so. It’s inspiring to feel how much she trusted her own Higher Self and the things she was able to learn and accomplish.

The uncrowned queen of the grieving and dying realm. Elizabeth Kübler Ross was an psychologist and expert in the field of near-death experiences, what happens when you’re dying, after death and how to deal with grief. She wrote many books on the subject. This is a book that my aunt send me when my mother-in-law was in the dying process, and because of this book I could be the best support to my husband. It gave me insight into what you’re going through when losing a loved one. Since we all will be confronted with this, I recommend this book to everybody. One of those books you wish was mandatory in high-school.

What a breathtaking book this is. And don’t be fooled by the title because really this book is as much about living as dying. Stephen Levine (father of Peter Levine) helped dying people to come to terms with their situation. He describes beautiful examples of the encounters he’s had and the deaths he’s witnessed. The way we die reflects the way we lived, they’re intimately connected. By reading this book you will come to know how to live better.

The Wild Edge of Sorrow - Francis Weller
In this book Francis Weller describes beautifully how grief is something we all carry with us. Grief has many faces, and unfortunately the every day world we live in doesn’t like to give it much space. Weller explains that actively grieving is a very profound process that can bring about as much energy as anything joyful can do. We’re made to grief, we simply lost tools and rituals and conversations on how to. Weller brings back the understanding and rituals on how to integrate grieving back into our lives. Because when you give space for the lows in your life, the highs will be much richer too.

Out of Control + The Conscious Parent - Shefali Tsabary
Another power woman that knows her stuff. Shefali explains that by simply having a child doesn’t mean you’re a natural born parent at the same time. Quite the opposite actually. When we parent our children on auto-pilot we bluntly copy the behaviour of our parents. And since this is basically how parenting has been over the centuries she states that the way people raise their children is pretty mid-evil. So for anyone who’s about to become a parent or already is one, I highly recommend her works. The link below has a great podcast with her and Oprah.
